Ron Frierson serves in the Tenant Consulting Group at NAI Capital, at the West Los Angeles ofﬁce. His responsibilities include Tenant Representation and Economic Development Incentives Negotiation & Procurement. Mr. Frierson has over 18 years of experience in economic development, corporate site selection, and incentives negotiation. Past projects include headquarters location, data center, industrial, and warehouse/distribution projects. Over the years, Ron has worked on teams representing Fortune 500 companies to procure incentive packages valued over $1.2 billion.
Ron’s experience in high-level management consulting, public incentives procurement, and government relations provide an enhanced understanding of client’s real estate needs beyond traditional real estate leasing services.
Before joining NAI Capital, Ron served as Principal at Hickey & Associates, LLC where he advised domestic and international clients on public incentive programs. Prior to that, he served as Vice President of Location Incentives at CBRE. Ron began his professional career in Economic Development as the West Coast Manager for the Kansas Department of Commerce, where he provided economic development consulting and business recruitment services on behalf of the State of Kansas. Ron's projects generated over $800 million in capital investment to the Kansas economy.
Ron worked projects with companies such as AT&T, US Bank, Kubota Tractors, Plastikon, Square Trade, Perceptive Software, and many others.
Ron is a Michigan native and former professional athlete playing professional basketball in Australia and France.
Ron received his B.S. in Social Science from Emporia State University in Kansas, and completed his MBA coursework at Baker University, Kansas.
