Rick Maguire serves as Senior Associate with NAI Capital’s Palm Desert office. He specializes in retail and land properties. He is involved in providing tenant and landlord representation services for his clients in the Coachella Valley and surrounding areas. Rick advises his clients on acquisitions, dispositions and deal structuring transactions. He has is an expert in utilizing technology to match and uncover opportunities to achieve his clients real estate goals. Rick’s background in education and management provides his clients an advantage in strategic direction and problem solving. He has experience working with a diverse client base to produce successful solutions for both buyers and sellers.
Background & Experience
Rick Maguire has an extensive and diverse work experience spanning his 30 year career. He has developed a unique set of skills, business acumen and educational training. In 1996, Rick began his career as a corporate officer handling mortgage originations and underwriting. As a general contractor with Journeyman Carpenter, he gained experience developing residential and commercial properties. After the Northridge Earthquake in 1994, Rick volunteered 2,000 hours as a cost appraiser for the Los Angeles County Assessor’s Office where he expanded his knowledge in real estate appraisal.

Rick has a comprehensive background in education and management. He has authored multiple scholarly articles and has been a speaker on Leadership. He has taught university level courses in business administration, finance, accounting and education leadership.
Rick Maguire earned his Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from University of Phoenix, School of Advanced Studies. He received a Master of Arts in Organizational Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Management from University of Phoenix.
