Mr. Body is a medical real estate specialist focusing on the disposition of Medical Office Building (MOB) and Ambulatory Surgical Centers (ASC) portfolios, and occasionally, medical practices. He works closely with public and private healthcare REITs, investment funds, private equity groups, High-Net Worth investors and family offices.
Since completing a Master’s Degree in Finance, he analyzed over $10 Billion institutional and private real estate investments for some of the largest banks and investment funds in the country. As a trusted adviser, he provided investment analysis and buy/sell recommendations for hundreds of transactions ranging from $1 Million to $250 Million for all major property types – office, retail, industrial, multifamily, land and condominium developments in various stages of entitlement.
Mr. Body advised institutional and High Net Worth clients in the Los Angeles area since 2010. Prior to joining NAI Capital, he was an Associate Vice President at the Los Angeles office of Grubb & Ellis where he was in charge of valuing institutional grade investment properties and providing advisory services to accounting and law firms. Previously, he was a Senior Associate at RCDH & Co, a leading boutique private equity and advisory firm in Washington DC that provided acquisition and valuation services for high profile institutional investors in commercial real estate. The company had such an esteemed reputation that the Wall Street Journal asked RCDH to estimate the value of the White House.
Mr. Body is a graduate of Harvard University where he obtained a Bachelor's and a Master's degree. His Master's thesis was a key part of larger research project that received a $5 Million grant from the National Institute of Health. He graduated with the highest GPA in his class. After receiving an additional Master's degree in Finance from Brandeis University, he passed the General Securities Representative (Series 7) and Research Analyst (Series 86) exams, and became a Certified Financial Technician. He also completed most of the course work for the MAI designation via the Appraisal Institute. Mr. Body is fluent in English and Hungarian.
He is a member of the Harvard Real Estate Alumni Organization and the Brandeis Alumni Society in Los Angeles.
